A rare vintage Eames Armchair 1959 to 1962 production with beautiful patina. The chair is marked with the GATC double triangle marking. This is one of the markings that indicate an early production Eames chair. It is mounted on a rocking base produced by Modern Conscience, a Seattle based company known for producing the best vintage parts for collectible furniture. Modern Conscience is also a company recommended by Herman Miller for the repair & restoration of their vintage pieces. Item is in good vintage condition with minor signs of wear consistent with age and use. Sold on an "as is where is" basis.
