Original 1970s Bertoia molded fiberglass side chair. Best known for his use of wire-forms, Bertoia also experimented with other materials. The molded fiberglass is one of the most notable as it allowed him the flexibility of using different colors and textures. The molded fiberglass side chair was originally produced from 1960 to 1972 but has been recently reissued by Knoll. The chair is marked with a manufacture date of 1/31/72, making it an original production. There are small holes drilled on the seat most likely done by its former owner to prevent water from building up on the sear. Apart from this, the chair is in good vintage condition with minor signs of wear consistent with age and use. Sold on an as-is-where-is basis.
